Your adventure begins with a drive from Arusha to Rongai Gate (1,950 m). After completing registration, the trek starts through farmland and pine forest along the northern slopes of Kilimanjaro.

You will arrive at Simba Camp (2,600 m) for dinner and overnight.
Today’s trek continues across scenic moorland with impressive views of Kibo Peak. The gradual ascent allows your body to acclimatize while enjoying the wide landscapes of Kilimanjaro’s eastern side.

Overnight at Second Cave Camp (3,450 m).
The trail leads through open valleys and moorland terrain, with vegetation gradually changing to alpine plants such as giant lobelias and groundsels.

Arrive at Kikelewa Camp (3,600 m) for dinner and overnight.
Today’s trek is shorter but steeper as you climb toward Mawenzi Tarn Hut (4,330 m), located beneath the dramatic cliffs of Mawenzi Peak. This stage is important for acclimatization and offers breathtaking mountain views.

Overnight at Mawenzi Tarn Hut.
The route crosses the saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo, a vast alpine desert often described as a “lunar landscape.”

Upon arrival at Kibo Hut (4,700 m), you will rest and prepare for the midnight summit attempt.
Summit day begins shortly after midnight. The climb follows steep scree slopes to Gilman’s Point (5,681 m) on the crater rim before continuing to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m), the highest point in Africa.
After celebrating at the summit and enjoying incredible views, descend to Horombo Hut (3,720 m) for overnight rest.

The final day involves a descent through beautiful rainforest trails to Marangu Gate (1,800 m).

At the gate, you will receive your summit certificate before driving back to Arusha, marking the successful completion of your Kilimanjaro adventure.
