3 Days Masai Mara Safari Itinerary Day By Day
Your 3 days Masai Mara safari begins with pickup from the airport or hotel in Nairobi. You’ll be transferred to our office for a short safari briefing to finalize any pending payments. Afterward, depart for Masai Mara with two stopovers: one at the Great Rift Valley View Point for breathtaking views, and another at Narok town for refreshments. Continue your journey to Masai Mara, arriving in time for lunch at your camp or lodge (depending on timing). In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in Masai Mara Game Reserve, famous for its abundant wildlife. After about two hours of exploring, return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.
After an early breakfast at the camp, head out for a full-day game drive in Masai Mara. This reserve is world-renowned for the Great Wildebeest Migration, which takes place between July to October, as well as sightings of lions, elephants, cheetahs, and other iconic animals. Visit the famous Mara River, the migration crossing point. If migration is not ongoing, enjoy a guided nature walk with an armed ranger who will explain the migration process and share insights about animal skulls and tracks. Later, proceed to a designated picnic site for lunch before continuing your game drive until evening. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
